Singapore is like another 🏠 home to me, lived there for 2 years attended 🏫 University and best of all, made a few great lifelong friends. Comes to think of it, was 8yrs+ ago and time flies. ? It’s always nice visiting every year. ☀️ Hot! It’s always hot all year round. 👕 T-shirts, shorts, 👙 bikini are the “go-to” cloths and of course flip-flops❗ Love wearing flip-flops there, “blending in like a local” as I always said. Oh don’t forget to carry an ☂️ umbrella, likes to 🌧️ rain here and there through the day so you never know.
Went on a 4D3N trip with friends, visited like a tourist and toured them around like a local. There’re many attractions like, 📍 Sentosa, 📍 Marina Bay Sands, 📍 Universal Studio, 📍 Clarke Quay, 📍 Singapore Flyer, 📍 Singapore Zoo, 📍 Night Safari and 📍River Safari, 📍Garden by the Bay and 📍 Supertree Grove, 📍 Chinatown and more. We chose some given the time we had and most are easy assessable by MRT. ? Duck tour was pretty fun, went on land and in the water. A fun way exploring the city.

After all that feasting, one last dessert before taking off — panda chiffon cake. Have shops at the airside, I bought a few before I boarded my flight each time.
Where to stay❓
🏨 Marina Bay Sands is famous for its skypark, world’s largest rooftop infinity pool up at Lv57. Has a stunning view of Singapore and worth staying for a night to experience it thou it’s more pricy.
🏨 Parkroyal on Pikering has a unique architecture “hotel in a garden”. Love the design and the greenery sky garden. Pretty convenient in city centre and ≈3mins walk to Hong Lim Food Center.
How to get around❓
🚆 MRT is pretty convenient and easy to navigate. It gets to most of the touristy places. An ezlink tourist pass offers unlimited travel on basic buses, MRT and LRT.
🚕 Taxi is possible, more costly and has additional charges at certain period. Midnight-5:59am ➕50% of metered fare / Mon-Fri 0600-2130 ➕25% metered fare / Mon-Sun & Public Holidays 0600-2130 ➕25% metered fare, view more info here.
Note: You can buy sim cards at the airport. If you forget, you can get it at any convenient store like Cheers. They’ll need your passport thou, 1 passport for 1 sim card.
